What you can expect from LINC

  • Part-time and full-time classes are available year-round.
  • Some locations offer evening classes.
  • We offer classes in different language levels – from beginner to high-intermediate.
  • All locations provide Care for Newcomer Children (CNC) for kids aged 19 months to 6 years old. Parents can attend classes while we mind your children.
  • All locations are accessible by TTC. In some cases, some learners can even qualify for public transportation assistance.

Is LINC right for you?

This program is right for you if you are:

  • a landed immigrant (not a Canadian citizen or visitor)
  • or a convention refugee (not a refugee claimant)
  • are 18 years old or older

Citizenship Preparation Classes

LINC is offering Citizenship Preparation Classes. 

Centerpoint / Danforth / Albion: April 16th-June 6th, 2024 (Tuesdays-Thursdays at 6:30pm-9pm)

How to register for LINC’s free English classes in Toronto

You must meet with a program counsellor for an assessment first. They’ll help you pick the right class.

To get started, scroll down to fill out the form below or call/visit one of the TDSB LINC locations near you. You can also contact YMCA Assessment Centre at 416-925-5462 (LINC) to start the assessment.
